Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Risen Christ Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Risen Christ Lutheran Church or the Good Samaritan Society. She was united in marriage to Forrest Rae Wacker on December 5, 1954, in Omaha, Neb. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2015.Mary was a Registered Nurse and proud of her accomplishments in the health care field. She was very active in her church and especially loved to sing in the choir and was always knitting something for someone and made many blankets. Those left to honor her memory include her children, Valorie (JR) Colclasure, Canyon Lake, TX, Forrest (Geri) Wacker, Chugiak, AK and Mark (Rita) Wacker, Walcott, IA; grandchildren, Heather (David) Smith, Oak Grove, KY, Seth (Valerie) Wacker, Newport News, VA, Katie (David) Ramsey, Pensacola, FL, Jason Coclasure, Huntsville, TX, Michael (Francis) Coclasure, Zorn, TX and Selena (Steven) Campbell, Richwood, TX; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Walter, Davenport and Rose Marie Linnenkamp, Annapolis, MD.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Donald, Franc, Gene and Ruth.
