Mary E. ChristopherSalisbury-Mary Elizabeth Christopher was born on October 8, 1928 to the late Naaman King and Caroline Field King in Allen, Maryland. She departed her life on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Genesis in Salisbury, Maryland, where she resided a short time for physical therapy.She leaves to cherish precious memories: one daughter, Cynthia King Polk; thirteen grandchildren; twenty plus great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Naaman King, Jr. and Douglas King, Sr., both of Allen Maryland; one niece, Doris Jones of Salisbury, Maryland, whom she loved like her own. Mary also leaves unforgettable memories with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and care providers who did a wonderful job providing medical support in her last years.Memorial service was held Thursday, Dec. 29, at Bennie Smith Life Celebration Center at 1 pm.
