On August 29, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul as Mary Thomas passed away at the age of 89 in Blakely, Georgia. She was born on May 8, 1935, to her parents John Lester Thomas and Darlene S Thomas. Mary leaves behind her loving son Damien Thomas and four adoring grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Aleya Davis, Dontae Thomas, J’Den Thomas

Mary was a proud graduate of Early Co High School and was an active member of the New Zion organization. She dedicated her life to helping others and spreading love and kindness wherever she went.

When Mary wasn't busy volunteering or spending time with her family, she enjoyed simple pleasures such as taking leisurely walks, sitting on the porch, and singing her favorite songs. Her joyful spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Mary, who passed away peacefully from a heart attack. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, dear Mary.
