It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Wilson, born on July 6, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, to her loving parents Thomas Wilson and Annie Wilson. Mary passed away on May 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with Renal Cancer.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Lowe (spouse Rodney Lowe) and Allison Wilson (spouse Terrence Watson). Mary was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Gerald Lowe, Terrace Lowe, Anthony Porter, Demetri Porter, Tony Porter, Audrey Porter, Samar Wilson, Tory Wilson, and Jakessia Wilson. Mary leaves behind a host of great grand children as well.

Mary attended Frederick Douglass High School and dedicated her life to helping others through her work with the Angel Hands Community Center organization. In her free time, Mary enjoyed sewing and expressing her creativity through her craft.

Mary will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
