Here lies Mary Fields, born on March 28, 1959, in Dolphin, Virginia, United States. She passed away on May 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love.

She was the daughter of Naomi Fields and the beloved partner of Sister Tina Washington. Mary was also a sister to Otis Lee and sister-in-law to Mildred, as well as a sister to brother Jerry Avans.

Though she had no children of her own, Mary cherished her family and friends above all else. She attended Brunswick Senior High School and went on to work as a secretary, always bringing her bright smile and infectious humor wherever she went.

One of Mary's favorite pastimes was being with her family, sharing stories and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Unfortunately, Mary was taken from us too soon due to her battle with illness. But let us not mourn her passing, but instead celebrate the joy and laughter she brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, Mary. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
