Mary Samson, 83, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed on January 08, 2022. Mary was born on May 13, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, to James and Kathrine Fredrickson. She married her longtime friend, Jessie Nathaniel Samson, in December of 1974.

Mary loved to love people. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always on the go to help those she cared and loved for. She also shared her love with food such as fried fish for her grandsons, pasta, and real fried chicken.

Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Mary is survived by her husband Jessie Samson; brother and wife Tommy and Carol Gibson, sister and husband Grace and Larry Johnson; her son and his wife Stephan and Theresa Samson, and daughter and husband Tia and Lateef Haskins; grandchildren, Lateef Haskins JR, Takiaha Hicks-Haskins, Adriane Haskins, Omar Samson, and Derek Samson; plus 1 great grandchild and her nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
