Mary Lee Hargrove , 76 of Columbus, Mississippi, passed on January 23, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Friday at the New Hope High School gymnasium at 2 p.m. with Geneva Hodges officiating. Burial will be at Stallion Cemetery. Visitation is today from noon-6 p.m. at Claiborne CME Church. Carter's Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Hargrove was born Aug. 19, 1946, to the late Jack Robert Hargrove and Maggie Hargrove. She was a native of Pickensville, Alabama and a member of Claiborne CME Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jessie Hargrove Jr., Sammie Hargrove, Joseph Hargrove, Nancy Hargrove and Estelle Hargrove. She is survived by her children, Jimmy Hargrove, James Hargrove, Jena Hargrove, and Charlotte Hargrove, all of Columbus and sisters, Lillie Pearl McCaa of Pickensville, Alabama and Magalene Phillips of Northport, Alabama and six grandchildren.
