Mary dedicated her life to her family, providing unwavering love and support as a partner to John Carter for many years. Their union was blessed with two kids Gina Foster Hason Foster and nine grand children, including Charnetta Foster, Jamelia Foster, Tanecha Foster, Alexandria Morgan, Alonzo Morgan, Jennifer Williams, Kimberly Williams, Victoria Pendleton, and Anastasia Mcbride.

Mary was a remarkably intelligent and diligent individual. She attended Blossom High School, where she excelled academically and graduated in the class of 1955. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue higher education at the prestigious University of Chicago, where she continued to demonstrate her intellectual prowess.

After completing her studies, Mary dedicated her energy and compassion to others by working as a caregiver. Her selflessness and nurturing nature brought comfort and joy to those she cared for.
