On June 11, 2024, the world lost a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary Washington, of Phoenix, Arizona. Born on January 3, 1951, Mary was the daughter of Geoffrey Lewis and Patrice Washington. She is survived by her three children, Kim, Claudette, and Michelle, and four grandchildren Brittani , Tiffani , Angelo and Brandon .

Mary attended Brookhaven High School, where she graduated in 1968. She had a passion for sewing dresses, cooking meals for family and church events, and solving puzzles in her spare time.

Her contagious laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary's passing was the result of a brain aneurysm that tragically led to a stroke.
