It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Martin, who left this world on August 6, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on February 3, 1951, and lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of sass. Ms. Mary had 4 children, Tray, Steve, Vincent, and Arlysa that had her 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Mary dedicated many years of her life to the Muscogee County School District, where she worked tirelessly until her well-deserved retirement in 2016. She was known for her sharp wit, contagious smile, and no-nonsense attitude.

When she wasn't busy keeping the students in line, Mary could be found watching the news and staying up to date on current events. She was also a proud member of the neighborhood watch program, always on the lookout for any suspicious activity in the area.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of strength, determination, and a whole lot of love. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
