With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, who left this world on February 19, 2026, at the age of 79. Mary’s funeral will be held March 2, 2026 at The church of Jesus Christ located at 822 North Clark Street Chicago IL. 60610

Born on February 2, 1947, to Luther Johnson and Rose Jenkins, Mary was a beloved mother to her three children, Ann Marie, Lisa, and Mack. She was a dedicated parent, always putting her family first.

Mary was a proud graduate of Lincoln Park High School, where she made many cherished memories and lifelong friends. She was known for her infectious laughter and positive outlook on life.

Despite facing challenges, Mary remained resilient and strong, always finding joy in the simple things. Her love for her family and friends knew no bounds.

On February 19, 2026, Mary passed away due to a sudden heart attack. While she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Mary. You will be deeply missed.
