We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mary Harris, who was born on March 3, 1946, and peacefully passed away on November 25, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia, United States.
Mary was the beloved daughter of James and Louis Harris. She was married to Robert Blocker/Harris in 1980 and together they had two children, Zaire Harris and Tavie Johnson. Mary was also a loving grandmother to four grandchildren.
After a fulfilling career at Burns Mill, Mary retired in 1976. She was known for her hard work, dedication, and kind heart. Mary will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous spirit, and her love for her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
