On June 13, 2023, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Mary A. McGhee of Buffalo, New York. Born on January 22, 1962, Mary was the daughter of William and Edna Mae Luchey McGhee.

Mary attended Kensington High School and UB college (graduating both with honors) she later went on to have a successful career as a loved counselor at endeavor health, retiring in 2023. She was known for her hard work, pride in her elegant clothing, love for her family, love of casinos, shopping, and bingo, always bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Most of all, her relationship with Christ and her family meant everything to her.

Although Mary had no children of her own, she was a cherished Daughter, Sister, Aunt, cousin and friend to many. Leaving behind so many loved ones, She cared for her nieces and nephews deeply; Tyrell King, Lau’ren McGhee (West), Tylerr King (Ja’kobi, Ja’kayla&Jovanni), Taylor McGhee (Taylen), Jada McGhee and Joseph McGhee ||. Her kind spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

After a courageous battle with lung cancer, Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
