Marvin B. MeckleySpring GroveMarvin B. Meckley, 90, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 30, 1925 in Glennville. He was the son of the late Bertis and Lettie (Myers) Meckley.Marvin was a milkman for the former Pensupreme Dairy for 16 years and then retired from Duplex. He loved to travel.A private visitation for family will be on Friday, April 15 from 1 to 2 p.m. at John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York. A private burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Donald Belch officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at Eastside Church and Ministries, 3430 Eastern Blvd., York, on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. for family and friends. Marvin is survived by wife, Alene (Sharp) Meckley; two sons, Stephen Meckley and David Meckley, both of Spring Grove; and two daughters, Diane Campbell and Heidi Garling, both of York; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Roger, Jean, Donald, Pearl, Burnell, and Marguerite. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Brenneman of Seven Valleys.
