Marvin Stapleton, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. He was born on November 28, 1948, to John Kelly Marbury and Alice Stapleton.

Marvin is survived by his loving daughter, Sherita Stapleton, and his six grandchildren. He was a devoted family man, always putting the needs of his loved ones first.

Marvin attended Jefferson High School, where he graduated in 1967. After completing high school, he proudly served in the Marine Corps, where he showed unwavering dedication and bravery.

Marvin will be remembered for his kind heart, contagious laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those he held dear. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
