On September 4, 2025, we bid farewell to a beloved member of our community, Marva Rice, who passed away in Augusta, Georgia, United States. Marva was born on June 17, 1961, to Larry and Gayzilla Rice.

Marva is survived by her loving son, Randy Dionysus Brooks, who studied at West Philly High School and went on to have a successful career as a Probate Court Judge before retiring in 2017. Marva cherished her time spent with Randy and their family, and had a talent for cooking delicious meals that brought everyone together.

Marva's warm spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace and may her memory live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
