Marva Mize was born January 13, 1954 to James H. Mize and Catherine B. Mize in Tucson, Arizona
She graduated from Pueblo High School in 1971. Shortly after she moved to San Diego, California. She worked for San Diego Juvenile Detention Center for 37 years and retired to become a travel agent.
She also worked part time for ARK of San diego.
She had one daughter, Alonna Cook of Houston, Texas, but she also was a foster parent to a few foster kids.
May 18th of 2020 we lost our beloved to her battle with Cancer. She is survived by her daughter Alonna Cook, sister Leesa Mize, brother Jimmy Mize, nephews: Xamaca Carpenter, Jermaine Mize, Twinn Mize, nieces: Shalonda Neal, Britney Garret, Shug Jalisa Mize, and Jamesha Mize.
Marva was a very well loved soul by many who is going to be truly missed but never forgotten.
