She was born on January 29, 1962, to her parents George Rodriguez and Helen Harr. Marva was married to Clarence Stevens in 1984 and they had one child named Ashley Stevens. She also leaves behind one grandchild.

Marva attended Dublin High School where she excelled academically. She had a passion for music, particularly enjoying the sounds of Toni Braxton. She was a talented crafter, known for her beautiful Christmas wreaths. In the kitchen, Marva was famous for her delicious fruit salad and spaghetti dishes.

In her free time, Marva enjoyed working on word search puzzles and playing The Sims video games. She loved staying connected with loved ones through texting and watching YouTube videos.
