ALBION — Martha M. Schlotterback, 80, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, July 11, 2016. She was born on Jan. 9, 1936, in Huntington County to Curt and Edna Lung. She was a graduate of Albion High School and lived in the Albion area. She worked for the Central Noble School Corp. for more than 30 years. Martha loved collecting bears and knitting. She married Ira F. 'Skip' Schlotterback on June 12, 1954, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Terry Schlotterback of Leesburg, Indiana, and Jeff Schlotterback and Tim Schlotterback, both of Columbia City, Indiana; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Bob Lung, and a sister, Jean Denton. She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Graveside services will be at Merriam Cemetery. Sheets and Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco is in charge of arrangements.
