Martha K. "Katie" Clark, 75MUNCIE - Martha K. "Katie" Clark, 75 passed away suddenly on February 3, 2017.She was born on February 24, 1941 in Muncie the daughter of Charles and Angie (Thornburg) Clark.Katie spent her youth in Gaston, then moved to Muncie where she graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1959. She attended Main Street Methodist Church and later Union Grove Church of the Brethren. Katie was an active with the AMVETS, the Moose and was a Cub Scout den mother.She was an artist who loved drawing and painting, she shared her works with family and friends. She also loved going to the lakes, bridge club and bowling. She was always willing to help family, friends and neighbors. Katie especially loved her pets over the years.Surviving are one son, Dean Clark (wife, Karrey) of Yorktown; brother, William O. Clark of Florida; nieces and nephews Charles Watson, Marla Perdue, Curt Watson, Ann Carter, Michelle Murphy, Leslie Clark, Dia Clark and great nieces and nephews.Katie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Saraethel "Sally" Watson and brother Charles Clark Jr.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at The Meeks Mortuary, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Bob Ewert officiating.
