Martha Elizabeth Dingey ThomasNEWARK: Martha Elizabeth Dingey Thomas, 83 of Newark died under the loving care of Hospice of Central Ohio at 3:25 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Heath Nursing Care Center, Heath, OH.She was born on May 21, 1933, in Zanesville, OH the daughter of Culver Isacc Dingey and Stella Blakney Dingey.Martha was retired from Elby's Restaurants, she enjoyed gardening, reading, feeding and watching the deer & birds. She is survived by her children; Vicki (Jim) Iden, Rick (Jennifer Sims) Thomas, Pat (Kenny) Dunn and Pam (Gary) Evans; 23 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Clarence "Slim" Thomas; a grandson, K.C. Barrett; a great-granddaughter, Anna Elinor Kain and son-in-law, David Ripple.Friends may call 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM May 15, 2017, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM with Pastor Chris Steele officiating.
