Marsena LaymonMrs. Marsena Maxine Laymon, age 87, of Billings, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, in the Nixa Nursing and Rehab in Nixa, Missouri. She was born on March 5, 1930 in Cordell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Orbia and Amy Eola (Flatt) Blair. Marsena was united in marriage to the love of her life, James A. "Jimmy" Laymon on January 15, 1946 in Witts Spring, Arkansas. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage before Jimmy passed away on October 9, 2006. Others who preceded Marsena in death were a son, Donnie James Laymon; her parents; and a sister, Joyce Crabtree.She loved her Savior; her church, the Hurley Church of God; her family; and she also enjoyed cooking. Marsena is survived by grandchildren, Christopher Laymon, Florida, and Amy Cobb, Wyoming; great grandchildren, Racheal, Josephine, Genaveve, and Wyatt; brothers, Melvin Lee Blair and Gaylon Roy Blair; nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends.A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Meadors Funeral Home, Clever Chapel (304 E.
