Mark attended the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, IN, he was a gifted writer and worked in theatre, arts, and film making. Survived by wife, Emily M. Blackman of Brooklyn, NY; daughter, Savannah Blackman; mother, Cynthia (Jim) Jorgensen of Valparaiso, IN; father, John (Diane) Blackman of Pinole, CA; grandmother, Roslyn Walton of Sellersburg, IN; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
