A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend, Mark had the uncanny ability to make you feel like a life-long friend and loved one regardless if you knew him for years or just a few moments. Mark was born on August 10, 1956, in Crescent City, California. A lover of music, Mark prided himself in being a musician, songwriter, and performer. He particularly loved the music of The Beatles and Elvis Presley, surrounding his days with their themes of love and compassion in all that he did. Mark is survived by his two daughters, Monica Daniels and Allison Torres and son-in-law, Adam Perry; his son, David Torres; and their mother, Catherine Daniels; three granddaughters; and one great grandson. He is also survived by his step-mother Nina Daniels; sister, Cheryl Helms; nephews, Robert Jones and Mark Jones and his wife Shelly Jones; nieces, Tiffany Jones and Desiree Flores; uncle, Dwayne Daniels; aunts, Shirley Helms and Joyce Phillips; cousins, Myrna and Jerry Whitcomb; as well as many other loving cousins and family members.Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mark L. and Ruth N. Daniels; aunts, Rae Stevens and Anita Estes; uncles, Myron Stevens and Bill and Richard Daniels; and his best friend, Dennis Carter.Mark will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Visalia Public Cemetery.
