Mark A. Conklin, 57, of New Milford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at his home. His wife of 37 years, Charlotte (Onyon) Conklin, survives.He was born on May 1, 1958 in Montrose, to Bruce L. and Edith M. (Stevens) Conklin of New Milford.Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Leslie Conklin, New Milford; four grandchildren, Hailey Conklin, Aliesya Abrams, Addison Conklin, Macie Conklin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Susan Conklin, New Milford, Roger and Janet Conklin, New Milford; sister and brother-in-law, Bonny and John Onyon, New Milford; aunts uncle, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Garry D. Conklin in 2001.Mark was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and the companionship of the friends who rode along with him. He was a member and Deacon of the South New Milford Baptist Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.Friends called the family Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the South New Milford Baptist Church, followed by a Memorial Service with Pastor Ray Mitchell officiating.
