Marjorie Delores Wettig, 87, of Rochester, WA, passed Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

Marge was born to Fred and Gladys Sawyer on April 28, 1931, in Escondido, CA. She married Harold Wettig on New Year’s Day in 1946 and together they raised three children, Rick, Peggy, and John.

She leaves as her legacy one child: Rick Wettig and his wife Sheana. She also leaves to cherish her memory 8 grandchildren (Tabitha, Melissa, Michelle, Jeremy, Bobby, Sarina, Christina, and Tony), 25 great-grandchildren (Johnathan, Brittany, Brandi, Chase, Shariah, Amani, Mya, Xavier, Kaiijah, Kolten, Andrea, Zane, Ethan, Tucker, Tara, Jesse, Isabel, Ronnie, Vanessa, Alfredo, Vicky, Zaden, Serenity, Zackaria and Breanna) and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren (James, Sofia, Janessa, Matthew and one baby girl on the way Jaycee).

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, son John and daughter Peggy.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, but to everyone that loved her, she was Gigi. She spent most of her life raising children. Her doors were always open and no one ever turned away. She loved so deeply and devoted her whole life to her family. In later years, as her family moved to distant places, she could not stay away. She spent much of her time traveling to see great-grandchildren grow. She always had a large envelope filled with pictures of grandkids tucked away in her purse. Finding any opportunity to show them off as she bragged about each and every one. She cherished her family most in life, and now we will forever cherish the memories she left behind.

Her ashes will be spread alongside her husband Harold at VictorValley Memorial Park in Victorville, CA on April 28, 2019, at 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at Mohave Narrows Regional Park at 12:00 pm.
