Marjanna PRZEPIORKA Obituary

from dallas, Saskatchewan, Canada

Marjanna Przepiorka 1922 – 2017 It is with broken hearts that the family of Marjanna Przepiorka (Danielska) announce her passing on July 29, 2017 at the age of 95 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husband and our father Stanislaw Przepiorka in 1961. She is lovingly remembered by her children Donna (Gord), Zeke, Henry, Joe, Marian (Darcy), Val, Stan (Heather), Veronica (Dave) and Steve; her grandchildren Jolanta (Nathan), Nadine (Chad), Megan (Matthew), Tavis, Krysia (Navtej), Kara (Brad), Miranda, Rayna, Asyah, Kamil and Darby; great-grandchildren Riley, Austin, Dallas, Khloe, Max, Tinley and Ava. Marjanna was born on July 13, 1922 in Krery, Poland, where she grew up the youngest of six children. At the age at 17, she was taken from her homeland when Poland was invaded during World War II. For the duration of the war, she was forced to work on farms in Germany. It was during the war that she met out father and they were later married. In 1949, they immigrated to Canada and settled initially in Whitewood, SK and later in Sintaluta, SK. She met the challenge of her life when she became a single parent of nine children. Marjanna is remembered for her strength, resilience and gentle nature. Her children were always dear to her heart. We are so grateful to have had you as our mother. You worked tirelessly–sewing, cooking, baking and making a happy home for us. You will forever be in our hearts. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Ste. Anne RC Church, Wolseley on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Krol Twarowski. Interment will be in Indian Head Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.tubmanfh.com
