Marion Seth Parrish, 34, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed on August 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Seth was born on January 18, 1989 to Dr. Eric S. Parrish and Gabriella A. Davtyan Parrish in Clemson, South Carolina. A graduate of D.W. Daniel High School, Seth continued his education graduating from Clemson University in 2006 with a Masters in Fine Arts. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee upon graduation to pursue his life passion; music. Seth was well known for his musical gifts and had been dubbed a musical prodigy, mastering 11 musical instruments.

Seth was preceded in death by his mother, Gabrielle, an infant sister, Ariana, and grandfather, Areg Davtyan, of Goris Armenia.

Survivors include his father, Dr. Eric Parrish and stepmother, Sara, a sister, Amelia Parrish, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves to grieve his fiancé, Daniel Scott Ferraro, of Russellville, Kentucky.

Per Seth’s wishes, no formal burial ceremony will be performed. A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s estate in Clemson, South Carolina on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 1pm-5pm EST, followed by an invitation only celebration hosted by his friends and family in Nashville, TN. Location and time disclosed per invitation. Seneca Chapel will be assisting with arrangements.
