Mario Lanoue was born in Port au Prince Haiti on August 30, 1952 and passed away suddenly on September 3, 2021.

Mario was preceded in death by his father Edouard Lanoue and his brother Maxoni Lanoue. He is survived by his wife Magali Moise Lanoue, his mother Cleante Brevil Lanoue, his brothers Eddy Lanoue, Pierre Andre Lanoue, Guiteau Lanoue (wife Elaine Lanoue), Pierre Edouard Lanoue and sisters Carline Lanoue, Marjorie Lanoue and Sherley Lanoue. Also he is survived by his cousins Yvrose Colas, Michaelle Elysee and Gemil Elysee and goddaughter Dominique Angibeau as well as many nieces and nephews and longtime friends all of whose lives he touched in many caring ways. His past years were committed to the caring and well being of his mother Cleante Lanoue.

Mario was a very energetic hard worker who immigrated to the United States as a teenager. He became a successful entrepreneur in the electrical trades as a master electrician. He utilized his skills in support of US Army Operation Restore Democracy in Haiti as well as working on a peacekeeping mission in the Balkans.

Mario had a generous heart and a kind spirit and he will be remembered and cherished by his family and many friends. A special memorial mass is taking place at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Houston TX on October 29, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
