It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Pinckney Seals, who left us on September 20, 2025. She was born on March 28, 1966 in Dorchester, South Carolina to Harold and Dorothy Seals.

Marilyn married the love of her life, Jacob Pinckney, in 1989 and together they shared a life filled with love and laughter until his passing in 2020. Although they did not have children of their own, Marilyn was a beloved aunt to many nephews and to her nieces who cared for her until the end; Mileisha Pinckney of Summerville,SC and Nigeria Gordon (Dwight) of Summerville. She is preceded in death by both her mother,father, three sisters,: Evon, Annie V, Brenda and one brother Alan.

Marilyn was a proud graduate of Harleyville Ridgeville High School, class of 1984. After graduation, she dedicated many years of her life to working at Worldwide Movers, where she made lifelong friendships before retiring in 2023.

In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed fishing, cooking delicious meals, and cheering on her favorite football team the Steelers. She had a zest for life that was infectious to everyone around her.

Her passing was a result of kidney failure, but Marilyn's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
