On December 17, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Marilyn Clarke of Nassau City, New Providence, Bahamas. Born on February 4, 1941, Marilyn was the daughter of Tario Strachan and Kiesha Clarke.

Marilyn married the love of her life, Ryan Strachan, in 1970, and together they raised two wonderful children, Alicia and Alvin. Marilyn was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.

After graduating from Doris High School in 1965, Marilyn pursued her passion for gardening. She had a green thumb like no other and her garden was the envy of all her neighbors.

Despite her love for gardening, Marilyn's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She had 10 grandchildren who brought endless laughter and love into her life.

Although Marilyn's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, she will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family.

Rest in peace, Marilyn. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of those who love you.
