Marilyn Jean JonesFINDLAY: Marilyn Jean Jones, 79, of Findlay passed away at 11:45 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 13, 1938 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Myron F. and Geraldine (Gangle) Bork. She married John A. Damschroder in 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1978. She then married Jon D. Jones in 1982 and he survives. Also surviving are a son, Kent (Meredith) Damschroder; daughters, Kimberly (Dan) Meisler; Karla (Jeff) Foss; son-in-law, Mike Wasserman; step-daughters, Linda (Marvin) Figy and Deborah Bish; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Wasserman and a brother, Neal Bork. She worked at Quality Farm and Fleet for 7 years in payroll, 5 years as an administrative assistant at Commercial Savings Bank and for Doranne's Gifts & Gourmet. Marilyn was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was a great cook, enjoyed camping with the Good Sams group and spending time with friends and family. She will be missed by her faithful canine companion, Millie. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Bob Cochran officiating.
