Marilyn J. Birkholz1933 - 2013Marilyn Birkholz, 79, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2013, at Kenosha Kindred South surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born on June 15, 1933, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Doerflinger) Glas. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married Francis Don Birkholz on Jan. 25, 1952, in Kenosha. She worked at Topps, K-Mart, Big Boy, and as a homemaker for many years. She was a member of St. Marys Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W., P.L.A.V., and American Legion. Her hobbies included picnics, entertaining, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include her sons, Don (Mary) Birkholz and Dan (Lori) Birkholz, both of Kenosha; daughters, Kathy (Dave) Rumachik of Twin Lakes and Karen (Allen) Norris of Kenosha; a brother, Walter Glas of Lake Tomahawk, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Marys Lutheran Church from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial Green Ridge Cemetery.
