Merrell, Marilyn AnnMarilyn Ann Merrell, 83, Green Bay, died Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born on August 23, 1933, in Green Bay to Walter and Ada (Hansen) Christensen.Marilyn graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1951. On May 5, 1953, she married Harland Merrell at West Side Moravian Church. Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, bowling, camping, cottaging, and traveling - especially to Door County, Florida and Hawaii.She is survived by her husband, Harland Merrell; and her children, Diane Merrell, Kenneth (Karen) Merrell, Douglas (Amy) Merrell; grandchildren, Andrew (Christina) Merrell, Katie (Mitchell) Crane; great-grandchildren, Norah Merrell, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Merrell; sister-in-law, Carol Christensen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Laverne and Lowell Christianson; and her brother, Gerald Christensen.Friends may call at First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Ashland Ave., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Dr. Randy Argall officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
