Marietta NoeMarietta Noe, age 92, died on March 7, 2017 at her residence in Lafayette, IN. She was born on October 30, 1924 to the late George and Florence (Harvey) Smith.Marietta was a lifelong resident of the Lafayette area and was a member of the VFW post # 1154 for several years. She enjoyed music, word searches and jig saw puzzles.Marietta married Otis Noe in Delphi, IN in 1963, he later passed away in 1974.She is survived by three children: Evelyn (James) Cain of Delphi, Otis Noe and John (Angela) Noe, both of Lafayette, IN; fifteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great grandchildren.In addition to her husband, Marietta is preceded in death by four children, George, Loretta, David and Patricia; a brother, Jim, and two sisters, Hattie and Rilla.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Celebrant Theresa Fischer will officiate.
