Marie "Maggie" Scott was born and raised in Jefferson (Shrewsberry), Louisiana to the late Mrs. Urma Marie Scott and Leonard Lee Scott. She  was a huge part of Greater St. Ann Church of Christ in her community. Most of her years she spent and dedicated her life to helping others all while working as a school teacher up into her retirement. Marie is survived by 4 kids (Belinda, Leslie, Tim, and David Scott), as well as a host of grandchildren( Shawn, Brittany, Ashley, Mike, Bryant, Kim, and Mona Scott) and 7 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a host of family and friends who will continue to keep her lifted and her memory alive here on Earth.
