Mrs. Marie Reeves, age 89, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, comfortably at her residence.

Mrs. Reeves was born June 27, 1933 in Parsons, Tenn. daughter of the late Les Hays and Clara Fisher Hays.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Seaborn B. Reeves; a daughter, Donna M. Reeves; a brother, Joe Hays; and a grandson, Bradley Merrell.

Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Ballenger, Summerville, GA.; two sons and daughter-in-laws, David Reeves (Candice) and Dr. Doug Reeves (Tara) Moultrie, GA; her sister, Margaret Bartholomew, Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; special friends, Jennifer Morgan, Kandi Reeves and Ben Ballenger; and a number of nieces and nephews.
