Marie (Woodson) Myers, 96, entered into rest on Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was the wife of Frank J. Myers. Born on May 1, 1923 in New Canton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John William and Mamie (Johnson) Woodson. Marie was preceded in death by her son James Spells Jr. and daughter Deborah Egbosimbah.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, Frank, sons, Gary Spells, Sherman Spells, F. Christopher and wife Colleen Myers and Jonathan Egbosimbah, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at First Assembly of God, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2270 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m., Pastor Danny Haas officiating.
