Marie Smith, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 14, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 93. She was born on May 4, 1932, to David Smith and Rietha Williams-Smith.

Marie married Quinn Parker Sr in 1953 and together they raised three children: Quinn Jr, Letha, and Barbara. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family.

Marie attended Lake View High School and graduated in 1950. She had a passion for baking and spent many hours in the kitchen creating delicious treats for her loved ones.

Marie is survived by her husband Quinn Parker Sr, her children Quinn Jr, Letha, and Barbara, her grandchildren (Franchesca, LaToya, LaShaunda, Quinn III, Quinnelle, Jasmine, Shavon, Davonte, and Dontae) and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her delicious baked goods, and her unwavering love for her family. Marie will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
