Marie Fitzpatrick, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 3:31 a.m. Born on December 4, 1932, Marie spent her life rooted in Vanessa, Ontario, where she built a legacy of compassion, strength, and care.

A devoted daycare teacher for over 35 years, Marie touched countless lives through her patience, kindness, and unwavering dedication to children and families. Her career was more than a profession, it was a reflection of her warm heart and nurturing spirit.

Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (2026), and her parents, Helen and Eugene. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Patrick, Elizabeth, and Jeff, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Danielle and Alex.

Marie’s life was defined by her strength, her compassion, and the quiet ways she cared for those in need. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In keeping with Marie’s wishes, there will be no formal ceremony or celebration of life. A small private family gathering will be held in her memory.
