Mariana Zuniga, age 74, passed away on June 4, 2023, in Rosharon, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 15, 1949, Mariana was the daughter of Jose Angel Galindo and Mireya Maria Galindo.

Mariana met the love of her life, Ramiro Rey Zuniga, and the two were married in 1968. Together, they raised their five children: David Zuniga, Juvenal Zuniga, Maria Mireya Zuniga, Maria Guadalupe Zuniga, and Oscar Zuniga.

Mariana was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her contagious smile and her willingness to help anyone in need. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Mariana was a great cook and loved to experiment in the kitchen, often creating new and delicious dishes for her family to enjoy. She was also an avid gardener and took great pride in her beautiful flower beds.

In addition to her beloved children, Mariana leaves behind nine grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved spending time with them and always had a special treat or surprise for them when they came to visit.

Unfortunately, Mariana's life was cut short due to cancer. Her bravery and strength in the face of this terrible disease were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Mariana will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on. We will always remember her infectious smile, her kind heart, and her unwavering love for her family. Rest in peace, Mariana.
