It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mariah Dean, who brought love, laughter, and joy to all who knew her. Mariah was born on October 6, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents Michael and Henrietta May.

She married the love of her life, Charles Dean, in 1991 and together they raised two wonderful children, Raynard and Sheree. Mariah was a proud grandmother to five adoring grandchildren.

After graduating from Osborn High School in 1973, Mariah went on to work at Henry Ford Hospital where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2015. In her free time, Mariah enjoyed cooking and sharing her delicious creations with family and friends.

Despite facing health challenges, Mariah always maintained a positive outlook on life and brought light into every room she entered. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mariah Dean passed away on January 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. While she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
