Maria "Dona Chuy" LopezOctober 7th, 1929 - March 3rd, 2016Maria "Doña Chuy" Lopez entered into eternal life on March 3rd, 2016 peacefully in her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, friends and family. She was born on October 7, 1929 in El Tigre, Sonora, Mexico.Doña Chuy was a life long resident of Somerton, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernabe Lopez, her parents and three of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Gloria Lopez (Phil), Francisco Lopez (Lorena), Gilberto Lopez (Trini), Mary Lopez, Damaso Lopez, Lupe Aguiar, Adriana Rios (Mario), Manuel Lopez and Bernabe Lopez, Jr (Gloria), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and five of her siblings. A wake to celebrate her life will be held at Del Angel Mortuary Wednesday, March 9th at 6PM. A rosary will be held at 7PM.
