Maria was such a cheerful and friendly lady who loved life. She could light up any room with her smile, she would make you happy even on your bad days. If Maria was here today she would tell us not be sad but to smile. Maria I. Dejesus was born July twenty-seven nineteen thirty-four, in Salinas, Puerto Rico.

Maria is predeceased by her parents Ramon and Maria, her daughters, Maria Antonia, Maria Socorro and Carmen Janet. She is survived by her husband Heriberito, her daughter, Maria Minerva, sons Cruz Albert and Heriberito. Many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Maria was a nurse during her time she loved the medical field. Maria's death was tragic because fighting for her life was tough, but “God gives his biggest battles to his strongest soldier” which made it reflect on how she was a strong soldier fighting till the end.
