Maria Arizmendi GarciaJanuary 2, 1928 - August 9, 2016Maria A. Garcia, 88, of Wilder, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Caldwell, Idaho. Maria was born on January 2, 1928 to Gilberto and Domitila Arizmendi in Sabinal, Texas. She married Cruz Garcia in 1948. Maria was a hardworking woman, and was a crew boss the majority of her career. Maria enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. Maria was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cruz, sons: Jess, Gilberto, and daughter Sarah. Maria is survived by her children: Cecilia Atencio, Joe (Paula), Ann Marie (Richard Garcia), David (Rachel), (Maria Paz), Ramon (Charlina), Guadalupe, and lastly Domitila (Juan Godina). Maria is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Viewing will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
