We are saddened to announce the passing of Maria Ashley, who departed this world on September 12, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on July 18, 1941, Maria lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Richard Brooks, the couple shared many happy years together after tying the knot in 1924. Maria was a devoted mother to her six children: Richard, Marquita, Jeffery, Sharon, Eric, and Daniel. She was also a doting grandmother to ten grandchildren.

During her career, Maria dedicated herself to her work at General Motors, where she made a lasting impact on those around her. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her garden, cultivating beautiful flowers and plants that brought joy to all who saw them.

Maria's warm smile, kind heart, and love for her family will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most.
