Maria Analise Garcia, 83, passed on September 30, 2022. She was born to José Garcia and Mariposa Sandoval Garcia in McAllen, Texas on May 14, 1939.

She married Joseph Mario Garcia in 1966 and they lived together in San Antonio, Texas. Together they raised 3 children Enrique Sandoval Garcia, Graciela Garcia, Margarita Garcia.

Maria was a beautiful person who loved butterflies and tejano music. She was known for dancing and her wonderful cooking. Her favorite dishes were tamales, yet she hated to make them. While she spent her early years in Mexico with her mother, she moved in with her father in Mercedes, Texas at the age of 9. Ever since then her Texas love began. Maria will be remembered in all our hearts.
