We are saddened to announce the passing of Maria Martinez, born on June 7, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, to her loving parents Julio and Ivette Cruz. Maria passed away on September 4, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family.

Maria was a devoted mother to her three children, Judith Moreno, Julio Jr. Cruz, and Michael Cruz. She adored her seven grandchildren and found joy in spending time with them.

Throughout her life, Maria brought laughter and warmth to all who knew her. She had a contagious smile and a kind heart that touched everyone she met. Maria was known for her delicious home-cooked meals and her love for gardening.
