She was born on January 23, 1969 to Tyra Johnson and adopted by G.I. and Edith Sherman. Mari Beth worked at Clarcor Air Filtration Products as a customer service representative. She attended North Charlestown Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.I. and Edith Sherman, and brother Ronnie Kemple. She is survived by her fiancé, Marvin Sweat; children, Cara, Courtney, and Cameron Blackwell of Mitchell, IN; grandchildren, Jaxson and Jettson Devinney, Sydney Shaw, and Aiden Sweat; siblings, Sheri and Michael Sherman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11,2017 at 1pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am-1pm and funeral will immediately follow.
