Marguerite Ellen Moore, 97, of Kingwood, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. She was born on September 3, 1917 in Oil City, Louisiana to Isaac and Beulah Pitts. She was a teacher with the Pasadena ISD for 39 years.

Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Lynda Dorsett (Randall); grandchildren, Randa Gross, Heather LaBorde (Larry) and Trey Moore (Deanne); great-grandchildren, Chandler Gross, Ryan LaBorde and Avery LaBorde. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Moore, Sr.; son, Ted Moore, Jr.; granddaughter, Ava Petrocelli.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Kingwood United Methodist Church. Interment followed at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX.
